LSE Public discussion Visualising Social Research asks if design helps our understanding of evidence & information

This event, held at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is held on 5 June in London. It asks if design enhances or clouds our understanding of evidence, data,information and knowledge? And what function can design take in social science research, communication and social change?

The speakers are Steve Fuller and John Maeda.

Steve Fuller is professor of sociology at the University of Warwick, specialising in the sociology of knowledge and history of science.

John Maeda is professor in design at the Rhode Island School of Design. He works closely with the Obama administration to advance legislation that puts art and design at the centre of science education.
