Research evidence may help inform decision making by policy makers, practitioners and members of the public. This workshop will provide an introduction to the the logic and the variety of methods of systematic reviews of research to inform such decision making. The workshop will consider the range of different perspectives and questions being asked of research and the variety of empirical and conceptual methods of review (from statistical meta analysis to meta ethnography).
