Organised by EIPPEE partners EAPRIL, this conference is ideal for those interested in promoting innovations in education development and practice.  The conference aims to bring together all those interested in the crossroads between research and practice and between professional learning and education as the generation of innovations affects teachers, practitioners, researchers, scientists and students but also education with such practices as custom or employee driven innovations or Living Labs. Deadline for submissions is 18 September 2012.

Innovation in education and research is now of crucial importance as it is expected to contribute not only to educational learning, but also development in business and working life, achieving outcomes such as interlinking work and learning, raising entrepreneurship, constructing new jobs and better utilisation of developments gained.

Examples of questions that can be addressed at the conference are:

  1. How can practice-based and practitioner research contribute to the quality of innovative learning?
  2. How can practice-based and practitioner research be organised to promote innovativeness for learning at work, for work and creating competences?
  3. How can practice-based and practitioner research be involved in promoting innovative solutions for education and regional development?
  4. How can innovative solutions be commercialised by support of practice-based and practitioner research approach?
