On 24 July in London the Minister of State for Universities and Science, Rt Hon David Willetts, will discuss his views on embedding evidence in the policy making process. Geoff Mulgan, CEO of Nesta and Peter Ainsworth, Chair of the Big Lottery Fund, will also be present and there will be the chance to network with other members of the Alliance and ‘talk evidence’.
The Alliance champions the use of evidence in social policy and practice. An open access network of 400 members from across government, charities, business and academia, it is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the Economic and Social Research Council and Nesta.
