Impact of Social Sciences blog says that there is a lack of a strategic approach to improving knowledge mobilisation in the sector. Echoing the views of the EIPPEE project, the article states that renewed attention is needed to build such capacities if schools are to benefit from the findings of high quality research
Dr Carol Campbell and Dr Ben Levin, of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, suggest ways to improve the work done in evidence informed research in education in England. Their approach draws attention to the individual (e.g. teacher, school leader), organisational (e.g. school) and system (e.g. national organisations and agencies) capacities for connecting research to practice.
