Article in Times Higher Education supplement discusses why universities are an important voice in the debate about education policy. John Furlong, Professor in Education Studies at the University of Oxford,  argues that educationalists need to do more to engage with other stakeholders in education, such as teachers and schools. In doing this, they will be able to demonstrate the value of their work and advance evidence informed policy.
