The Iterative Best Evidence Synthesis (BES) Programme leads a collaborative knowledge building and use strategy. The core focus is on developing a series of inter-linked syntheses (BESs) that explain influences on valued outcomes for diverse (all) learners. The BESs highlight approaches underpinned by research and development that make a much bigger difference than business-as-usual practice in education. The programme also champions a ‘first do no harm in education’ principle. The series of BESs is designed to be a catalyst for systemic improvement and sustainable development in education. |
