| The mission of the IEE is to improve education throughout the world by developing, evaluating, and disseminating educational programmes and practices aimed at improving learning outcomes for pupils from pre-school through to secondary school. Using a broad range of research designs, including randomised and quasi-experimental trials, it examines the effectiveness of the ways in which young people are taught. A major focus is the systematic review of research on educational programmes and practices. The IEE also works to influence education policymakers and administrators to encourage schools and teachers to adopt programmes and practices with strong evidence of effectiveness. |
